Tyler was born in Calgary, Alberta and grew up passionate about fish, wildlife, and the outdoors. In 2016, Tyler moved to New Brunswick to pursue graduate studies at the University of New Brunswick, with a focus on Atlantic salmon in the Wolastoq. Tyler has since worked on several applied fisheries and research programs in academic, governmental (provincial and federal), and nonprofit sectors. Tyler was hired to MNCC in the spring of 2024 and is excited to work with communities and contribute to the conservation of aquatic life in the Wolastoq watershed.
