Blake is from Sitansisk (Saint Mary's First Nation) and has been an enthusiastic hunter and fisherman for many years. He attended New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) and studied Conservation Technology in 2009. Additionally, Blake completed the Aboriginal Fisheries Guardian Training program. In 2017, he joined MNCC as a Solid Waste Management Coordinator.
